With more than 15 years of experience conducting recreation training programs for thousands of players in dozens of soccer clubs in the United States, UK Elite is a leader in innovative curriculums and program design. This year, all RDSA recreational programs will include the UK Elite’s exclusive Steps2Success training Matrix. Each team and coach will have the added benefit of professional coaching and training assistance by UK Elite.

The RDSA Recreation program meets the needs of the recreation player and volunteer coach while providing a fun, educational environment.

Each recreation team receives a number of coaching sessions with a professional UK Elite trainer.  All teams receive personal attention and coaches benefit from direct contact with a UK Elite trainer.  A series of lessons (both age and ability appropriate) are derived from UK Elite’s renowned Steps2Success program.

The Steps2Success program is a consistent path to improvement for players between the ages of 5 - 14.  Each Step is designed with the age, experience and ability of the player in mind -- giving every player the chance to fully realize his or her potential.  As the Steps increase, the skills and techniques become more complex, the demands placed on the player become higher, and the intensity of the sessions increase.  Personal attention ensures maximum improvement for each player.

The season begins with UK Elite-assisted training and scrimmaging sessions.  ALL players on the recreation level will play at least 50% of the time during games.  The league’s regular game season begins in September and ends in early November with the exciting and competitive, RDSA ROUND ROBIN TOURNAMENT (custom designed for each league!).  For more information regarding RDSA Recreation League contact Karen Ennis VP, Recreation, at kennis@riverdellsoccer.net.
